Majority of our staff are born here in Mallacoota, offering a true country culture experience. Our menu takes inspiration from our surrounding area, with succulent steaks, fresh seafood and all of the pub favourites you know and love, along with our daily specials.

At Mallacoota Hotel, we’re always working on ways to reduce waste and make more sustainable choices, because we believe small changes can make a big difference.
We’ve cut out hundreds of polystyrene foam boxes by switching to reusable delivery tubs with our seafood supplier, vegetables is next on the hit list. We also bulk-buy high-volume spirits so we can refill bottles instead of constantly throwing them away, and we’ve swapped single-use cleaning products for more sustainable alternatives.
Across our takeaway and bottle shop, we’ve made the move away from single-use plastics by using paper bags and boxes, kraft packaging and BioPak containers, and we’ve replaced plastic six-pack rings with eco-friendly can holders. We also sort recycling properly behind the bar to reduce contamination, have green waste bins on site.
We know there’s always more to do, but we’re proud of the changes we’ve made so far — and we’ll keep improving wherever we can.
